Van Landingham Gallery

Did you know that in addition to the open studios at the Art Center the TFAA also has two art spaces? TFAA Artists contribute to both the business and creative economies with our open studios and events, residencies and exhibitions at our Van Landingham Gallery in Alexandria and at our Torpedo Factory Artists @ Mosaic Satellite Space in Fairfax Virginia.

Van Landingham Gallery
Open: Hours vary with exhibition

The Van Landingham Gallery (VLG) is named after the founder of the Torpedo Factory Artists Association, Marian Van Landingham. In 1974 Marian spearheaded the transformation of a decrepit former military storage building into the Torpedo Factory Art Center and currently works in studio 321 in the Art Center.

Exhibition possibilities at VLG are open to all TFAA members and more widely, the DC Metro area artist community. The TFAA believes this inclusiveness increases the vibrancy of the Art Center. TFAA Members may propose classes, workshops, artist residencies, and installations. Community members and organizations may reach out to partner with a TFAA member. Your imagination is the limit!
