What does it Take?
Artists interested in joining the gallery should email 5-6 images, a blurb about their work, as well as any social media/website information to Admin@TorpedoFactoryArtists.com. The Van Landingham Committee will vote on your membership within a few weeks, and the gallery lead or committee member will get back to you with a response once the members have voted.
Please keep in mind:
There is no fee to apply. However, if selected, there is a participation fee. The fee goes towards gallery operation expenses. Please note that non-TFAA members are required to go through a jury process for participation prior to the exhibit. Participation is not guaranteed. We will reach out to non-members once the deadline passes and participant numbers are finalized.

Artist Agreement:
By entering artworks into the show, artists commit to adhering to gallery rules and understand that repeatedly breaking those rules may result in temporary suspension from future shows. Rules are outlined here and in the turnover email sent to artists prior to each show.
Artists are expected to hang their work on the days specified unless other arrangements are made in advance with the gallery lead or gallery display manager.
Artists commit to having those artworks for sale in the gallery for the duration of the entire show and will only sell the works through the gallery during the exhibition period.
Artists will be assessed $50 fee per missed gallery sitting shift, if they are unable to make up missed shifts in the current or following show. If unable to staff their shift, artists must inform the gallery lead in advance to allow for an attempt to fill the shift.
The Torpedo Factory Art Center requires all artworks exhibited in the building to be the original concept of the artist. Bin artworks can be original or reproductions of original works created by the artist. Main entry/wall art must either be Original or if Reproductions of Original paintings, must be hand-embellished by the artist in a manner that makes them original - visible brush strokes with acrylic or oil, markers, etc.
No AI generated artworks will be accepted.
Reproduction artworks are required to be labeled “Reproduction”. Copies / reproductions of works created by another artist cannot be exhibited by a different artist. All artworks should be finished and signed by the artist on the front or the back. Works on paper can be exhibited either framed or unframed. Bin entries should be packaged in shrink wrap or other protective sleeves.
As the TFAC requires unique differentiated exhibitions, 2d and 3d artworks cannot have been exhibited in the preceding VLG show. Exception to this rule is bin artworks, cards, small gifts, and jewelry.
The Torpedo Factory Artists' Association and the Van Landingham Gallery are not responsible for loss or damage to artwork or other property. The artwork is not insured by TFAA.
The submission of artwork for the exhibit implies permission for TFAA to photograph, reproduce, or use an image of that artwork in the TFAA's promotional materials and social media posts.
TFAA reserves the right to refuse exhibition of any work it deems inappropriate for community viewing or works not wired properly for hanging or ready for display. Artwork may also be rejected if it differs markedly from the digital image{s) submitted.
Delivery of works to TFAA Gallery constitutes an express waiver, release, and discharge of all claims, actions, or causes of action against the harm of any kind to the works of art, including but not limited to the frame, glass, matting, art, or any piece of portion of the work or object in the possession of TFAA or its volunteers. Neither TFAA, its members, nor any volunteers acting on behalf of TFAA will be held responsible for any loss or damage of any piece or piece thereof of art in its possession.
