Current Exhibition: How It’s Made July 18 – August 12
Art is a process. Members of the Torpedo Factory Artists’ Association have continually opened their working studios for the past four and a half decades, allowing millions of visitors the opportunity to intimately view the creative process of hundreds of artists, practicing in dozens of different artistic media.
Continuing with the mission of connecting the viewer with the artistic process, a new exhibit at Torpedo Factory Artists @ Mosaic features sixteen artists exhibiting finished artwork alongside information, materials, or examples of the techniques and processes used to create the piece. See a painting progress from start to finish; examine the copper plate meticulously engraved to create a print; and get your hands on materials and tools from the exhibition touch table.
Dimensions August 15 – September 9
This juried show will feature large scale works alongside complementing three-dimensional work, including ceramics, jewelry, fiber, and more.
